Perfect holiday picture

This picture was shot during a holiday on the Greek island of Crete in October of 2015. The holiday season was over which gave the island some more “at ease” status. The place where we went that day was at the very east end of the island. We had hired a car and went touring the whole week. This location was one (perhaps the) highlight and epiphany of the roadtrips for me.
That day we decided to go to the east part of the island and drive all along the coastline. I miscalculated how may kilometers that was and we ended up returning very late at our appartment in Elounda. That was also partly because I had seen some archeological place on Google Maps at the far east side: Zakros Palace. So we followed Google maps towards that place and we came at the most amazing road near the coastline! It was a road, built upon the lava remains. And it went steep down. After visiting the archeological site, we went for a drink at this bar, at the beach. Because the holiday season was already over, there were not many people.
At one moment I saw these beautiful plants combined with, standing behind them, a splendid view on the deck chairs, beach and sea. Although some of the plants were already witthering, the ambiance of the perfect holiday spot is still very visible. For reasons I cannot reproduce anymore, I used my phone camera to capture the image. The camera was on auto and this gave a very well result. They say that the best camera is the one you have with you 🙂
The holiday was one of the greatest I have had and this image captures such a great feeling and such a great holiday view, making it an impulsive photo!
